Rut #2 Tyler Nelson

After being weirded out by the Electronic Media Gallery and making fun of the man who used his face to tell a story I decided to try it out for myself. For one I have never had a Youtube account. I have never posted a video of myself on youtube. I have never recorded my face while telling a story and I most definitely have never posted it on youtube. So I thought this assignment would give me a good chance to try it out.

It took me a while to get the right angle and figure out how to actually film this. I have about 30 or so videos where I would start laughing or I would be zoomed in to far or mess up for whatever other reason. It was fun to make this video though. I think I might be the only video on youtube that has a mans face simply telling the story of "The Three Little Pigs". Who knows, this might be the next Internet sensation. I could make millions off of this little experiment. Most likely not though. If you watch it try not to make too much fun of me when you see me in class.

I learned that you sometimes have to go out on a limb and not be afraid to make a fool of yourself. People will always be critical of the things that others do but you shouldn't knock down an idea until you try it for yourself. I also learned the importance of being able to laugh at myself. I also learned how to upload videos from my phone straight to you tube. Perhaps I will be making a series of "short stories". HAHA
