I was really planning on putting these it to a song but I just couldn't find time to record one. I mean enough comments on here and maybe I'll put one together... I love thinking about writing lyrics but I learned it's pretty complicated! After listening some bands for inspiration, I found most lyrics seem effortless–or they are simple but may have some meaning. Most that I really like tell a story, but the middle of a story, and not the beginning or end. Sentences start from the middle rather than the beginning and have meaning but it's typically hard to reveal. I don't know, I liked it though. Hope you love my spacey futuristic love story.
I find your song very intriguing, because it seems like it is a small snippet in the middle of a large, very emotional story. Perhaps you should not only put music to the lyrics, but expand it into a rock opera? Just a thought, if you have the time.
ReplyDeleteI'm not going to lie, I thought it was cool that your chorus went "between heaven and mars." It's something that's new, and I thought it was interesting. What made you choose Mars?
