So . . . I must have missed the memo on this one so it's pretty late but I learned a lot from this opportunity. I learned from reading everyone else's material that those who had a spouse or some strong emotional connection made the strongest songs which I could envision in my head. So, I turned down a dark road which I don't travel often to create an emotional connection. I started writing lyrics and over the process of two days they meshed into the following. I also realized the same song kept coming into my head as I was writing. SO . . . Turn on Jimmy Eats World "Hear You Me" and see if you can match the words with the song.

What did you think? What did you feel? I learned that for optimal creativity one must take time, must think about it constantly, and must invest their inner-most selves into the project.
