Rut #6-Michelle Monson
I decided to paint a picture of Portland. There are so many bridges and rivers in Portland, so I figured why not paint a picture of that. That is where I served my mission too. Keep Portland Weird. I learned during this exercise, that I have a hard time with painting. Remember, I am the girl that knows the art of cartoons, not of 3D architectural drawings. It felt good to paint and it always feels good to do these Rut exercises.

the colors you used are nice and watercolor pattern makes the water in the painting look textured. nice.
ReplyDeleteFiguring out 3d is crazy hard. Agree with Brittan the water does look like it has texture, which is really cool.
