Rut #4- Kim Pratt
After class on Thursday, I was totally determined to do this assignment, it sounded so fun! I've eaten quite a few weird foods before and I often do order new things from the menu, so I was a little stumped about where I wanted to go. It ended up that Friday night I happened to be in Ikea. Okay, I'll be honest, Ikea is like my favorite store in the world and I'm basically there every night but...I decided to try something new there this time. I had seen them advertising for a Swedish Soda for quite some time so I decided why not? Instead of sticking to my normal choice of lemonade or my occasional choice of Dr. Pepper, I went for it. I tried the Lingon Berry Swedish Soda. It came out berry colored (this machine was broken when I took the picture, I had to try a different machine) and carbonated. It tasted delicious and I would definitely recommend it to any other Ikea shoppers out there! Go in through the exit of Ikea, grab a Swedish delight, and then head upstairs to do your shopping!

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU HAVE NEVER TRIED THAT UNTIL NOW?!!! It is yummy huh?
ReplyDeleteI am from Sweden, and drink this all the time. It is the best think ever. However, it does sound completely weird and not really something that would be tasty. Congrats on discovering a Swedish specialty.
ReplyDeleteMy family is part Swedish and my mom is therefore obsessed with Lingon berries and their "health benefits"...haha, glad you enjoyed the flavor.
ReplyDeleteIkea is a long long long semi-boring story. I am sorry.
ReplyDeleteWay to try something different that I never would have though of.
