Rut 4 New Food - Ashley Boehme

Ugh, so full.

I went to "El Salvador,"  a little Salvadorian restaurant on Center.  It was totally legit.  They're famous for their papusas, which are these little handmade, corn tortilla things.  I was pleasantly surprised by them.  The favorite things I tried were the platanos fritos.  They tasted really good dipped in beans and sour cream.  Sounds gross, but it's totally delicious.

I'm definitely going back and ordering pork papusas and another dish of plantains.

  1. Not gross AT ALL! I love that place, it's my favorite restaurant in Provo. Did you have one of the sisters be your waitress? (4 sisters own the place, and they're the sweetest ladies!)

The pastelitos are really good too!

  2. The papusas are soo good and it is super cheap!!!!!!! Great fun cheap date. Next time you need to go to the peruvian place right there on Center street......that is interesting.
