This song is a reflection about how I felt during the time I wrote it. I had been sitting on my butt for about six hours, working on homework and mainly getting distracted by random things online. When I realized how pathetic I was I wrote a song about how pathetic I was, but I wrote it from the perspective of trying to defend how my pathetic actions are not pathetic because it's who I am... does that make sense? I learned that it's easier to write songs if you write about what you're feeling because I tried to write songs before this and they sucked. (I'm not saying this doesn't suck, but on a relative scale of suck they sucked worse than this.) I also learned that songs don't have rules and depending on what music I put this too it could be a hit or a bomb. Sometimes lyrics aren't that important to the song's value.
