I watched Phantom Pain, and without giving too much away, it;s about an avid cyclist who lives for cycling. He travels the world cycling up mountains and always challenging himself. This love of cycling has sometimes gotten in the way of his personal life and relationships. After a hit and run accident he is left with one leg, and this loss of cycling in his life pushes him to dark places where he must find who he is and who he wants to be. The reason i did the poster the way i did, is because all though the "phantom pain" references are about his missing leg, in reality they are about his loss of cycling and the trouble he has moving on from that. in this poster it shows the phantoms of his old bikes, but in reality all that is left is his mangled bicycle that can no longer be ridden.
