This ad is called "hot bat." I love how the ad plays on the popular baseball phrase in a new way. It makes you stop and think when you see the fried egg. It reminded me of the ad that we discussed in class of the man smoking and the vultures above. Both communicate one very clear message with a twist that is non-clique, but quick to grasp.
Clever! Love the idea of something being so hot "youcould fry an egg on it!"
ReplyDeleteThis is a neat advertisement that not only promotes the team, but can be used when the team is doing well. When you have a bunch of "hot hitters" it is easy for the fans to get behind and support their team.
