I chose to use this quote from the movie, because not only did the words stand out but also the emotion that came with the scene when it was said. Although the actions of the father were questioned at points, he was trying to keep his dignity and pass that dignity onto his children, especially the oldest son.

This is an interesting take on the movie. I'm with you on the whole thing with the father. He was stubborn but he wasn't the bad guy. That was a powerful scene, you had to have respect for him at that point.
