Wasn't too shabby. My brother had told me to try tofu a while ago as a good meat/protein substitute. So, I gave it a shot. It worked well. It wasn't that filling to me, but that could have been because I was really hungry. Luckily it didn't scare me off enough to never try it again, but I'm not sure if it's the first thing I would go for.
I wish I had pictures, but maybe next time!
I love tofu. The best kind of tofu is Japanese tofu. It has a bit of egg in it instead of straight soy bean. There were some amazing dishes in Singapore with it. Good choice!
ReplyDeleteI've never tried tofu... it looks different, but I would totally try some if I have the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteThat is cool...I'm not sure I'd ever try Tofu but way to be brave.
ReplyDeleteYeah I don't know about the tofu thing, but I'm happy to hear that you made it, and you might even do it again.
ReplyDeleteI've had tofu a few times and I noticed the same thing that it wasn't as filling and I'd possibly have it again. If there weren't other better options...
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I'm not personally a big fan of tofu. It has to be cooked just right for me.
