Guy Walks Across America (McKenna)
This video is an example of a new way to advertise. This viral video has had over 2,000,000 hits, has been featured on ABC, and was made possible through funding by Levi's Jeans. However, this unconventional commercial is interesting because, just like class today, it definitely promotes Levi's without actually saying or showing anything over-obvious about the jean brand.
Using still photos instead of film, this video is visually interesting. The filmmakers went across the country in an old RV, stopped when they wanted to film, and had to position the actor to make it look like a continuous shots. I like ads that have effects that could be faked but aren't. And I love the music.
